Okta
A visual ecosystem blending clean design with exotic appeal
The challenge was to extend an immersive, multi-touchpoint visual ecosystem that translated Okta's tech-forward identity into a tactile, high-end hospitality experience in Tulum.
I led a cross-functional team of designers and collaborated with production vendors to ensure the high-fidelity execution of custom collateral and digital assets.

Design system
We began by researching and exploring graphic elements that would authentically capture the essence of this exotic destination. Our goal was to create a scalable framework with adaptive components that not only reflects Tulum’s unique character but also evokes the sense of relaxation and warmth associated with the place. We then paired these design elements with carefully curated photography to enhance the immersive experience.

Final set
We curated a final set designed for infinite scalability, selecting assets that could seamlessly transition from digital interfaces to physical environmental elements. By prioritizing color expression and localized patterns, we created a kit of parts that allowed the brand to 'own' the Tulum location while maintaining a cohesive visual identity across every attendee interaction.
Guidelines
The result was a dynamic visual system that captured the essence of Tulum while allowing for flexibility and growth. We leveraged a card-based design approach—using geometric elements and vibrant gradients that could be easily adapted to create new visuals for future destinations. This provided a scalable framework for Okta's annual event—President's Club—while maintaining visual consistency.
