We teamed up with Funding Circle to improve the user experience of their online loan application process, with the goal of increasing the conversion rate of applicants from 8% to 12%.

Our focus was on streamlining the application flows for both new and existing customers, making the process smoother and more intuitive.

Simplified process

We streamlined the application process by organizing the requirements into four clear steps. This approach helped prioritize the most important tasks, set clear expectations for users, and reduce friction, ultimately minimizing drop-offs.

Journey mapping

In the UX phase, we created detailed flow diagrams to identify potential points of friction. These flows then informed the development of scenarios for user testing and validation.

Refined system

We established consistent UI styles and interaction patterns, making the experience intuitive and familiar—minimizing cognitive load and ultimately leading to a more positive user experience.

Testing

For user validation, we prepared multiple iterations of key screens to find the most user-friendly approach. 

The final flow significantly improved ease of use, optimizing the experience to drive conversions by making it both efficient and enjoyable
